The project aims at including farmers, SMEs from the processing sector of primary agricultural products, representatives of national and local authorities dealing with protection, preservation and valorisation of farmland, forests and waters in the border region of BG and TK in establishing a network for cross-border cooperation for applying agricultural practices protective of the environment, which contributes to betterment and improvement of production quality of SMEs and farmers in the project’s execution fields. A study of the status and obstacles to implementing good practices in the cross-border region gives a chance to develop a training program for direct beneficiaries, as well as define the topic of the planned discussions and international forum with the participation of agricultural scientists in the border region. The planned information campaign contributes to increasing the knowledge and importance on the topic of environment protection among final beneficiaries. |
