On October 4, 2011 in Haskovo, on October 6, 2011 in Burgas, on October 11, 2011 in Kirklareli and on December 22, 2011 in Edirne four information days combined with a special training sessions for potential beneficiaries of the Second Call for proposals were held under the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme between Bulgaria and Turkey. Events were attended by 349 participants in both partner countries, where they had an opportunity to receive useful information on the possibilities of the program and application requirements for the Second Call for proposals. Potential beneficiaries were also trained on preparing a project proposal under the Programme; receiving detailed information on the application pack (application form and annexes) and on the general requirements for submission of their proposals.

A Partnership Forum was held on October 13, 2011 in Edirne, which was attended by 198 representatives from Republic of Bulgaria and Turkey. At the forum where potential applicants had an opportunity to exchange information on their partner needs and their project ideas; networking activities, round table discussions, and partnering meetings also took place.

This information campaign was carried out within the measure number 3.2- “Publicity and Communication” under the Priority Axis 3 – Technical Assistance of the Bulgaria-Turkey IPA Cross-border Programme, co-financed by European Union.
