| Description: |
The project strategy is to create conditions for joint participation of the local craftsmen in Nessebar and Edirne in joint initiatives, by creation of a Joint Crafts Demonstration Centre in Nessebar and Edirne. Periodically there are thematic exhibitions of crafts products, training courses and fairs organized. The exhibitions are being launched in the specially reconstructed and equipped exhibition halls in both towns. In addition the project foresees activities targeted at the promotion and raising of the craftsmen’s awareness such as elaboration of a marketing strategy for the crafts in the CBC region and the development of a website providing information about the current and future crafts exhibitions. The website is also to be used as a common database for all craftsmen in the municipalities and the services they provide and it is being constantly updated. Additionally the publication and distribution of printed advertising materials for the respective crafts are also prepared. |
