European Cooperation Day celebrates the benefits and achievements of Territorial Cooperation through local events in and around Europe on 21 September 2014.
The INTERACT programme with the support of the European Commission (DG Regio) organizes an EU-wide video contest under the motto ‘border issues, border solutions’for this year´s edition of European Cooperation Day. European projects, programmes (cross-border, transnational, interregional, Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA CBC) and European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI CBC)) and individual film-makers are encouraged to share their videos highlighting the results and benefits of cooperation in Europe.
Spread the word and activate your network! The winners of the video contest will win a trip to Milan to be part of the European Cooperation Day kickoff event on 16 September!
Do not worry, even if your video doesn´t win, your video will be showcased during this year´s Open Days in Brussels in the Committee of the Regions cinema room on Wednesday 8 October*. So, participate and maximize the visibility of the added value of European Cooperation!
Quick reminder of the guidelines of the video contest:
- The subject of the videos should refer to activities of the programming period 2007 – 2013. They should depict the challenges of European borders or reflect achievement of European cooperation.
- They should not exceed the maximum length of 3 minutes.
- They may be professional or amateur.
- All videos should be in English or have at least English subtitles.
- Originality and creativity will be highly valued
Only videos complying with the Terms of Reference will be considered for participation.
You can upload your video until 15 July (midnight), so go to the website now and participate! Voting will take place between 16 July and 15 August and winners will be contacted by the end of August.
