Overall objective of the project is to achieve balanced sustainable development built upon the basic strengths of the cross-border region through better acquaintance and popularization of the common cultural heritage aiming steady progress in the cultural exchange. This leads to development of cognitive tourism in the border area and helps the improvement of regional economical development. The project contributes to the achievement of the IPA CBC Programme objectives because it refers to the efficiently use of common cultural heritage of the region as a precondition for building stronger cross-border co-operation and beneficial cultural exchange. Project is focused on the preservation and popularization of common cultural values that form the specific and unique way of life in the cross-border region improving indirectly people’s quality of life. The balanced development of the region and the better quality of life leads to stronger European co-operation and integrity. |
