The project aims to facilitate the matching of the needs of municipalities and provinces in co-operation region. The development of the strategy helps to indicate the specific needs and strengths in cross-border region and enables future partnerships for development of tourist projects. Also at the seminars, partners are having the opportunity to share experience and exchange best practices in the field of tourism. In that way problem such as lack of cooperation, underdeveloped tourism infrastructure and services and promotion of natural, cultural and historical heritage are properly being addressed. The created database, available online on the web site, contains information about the exact needs of the municipalities and provinces in the cross-border region and helps candidates to match with a suitable partner for their project idea. The strategy of the project implementation leads to direct feed-back from the municipalities as directly affected by tourist development. |
