The project aims at contribution to the social and economic development by creating a Center for entrepreneurship training and motivation for women over 54 years of age (further called "sheltered members") who are at risk of losing their jobs OR were released from work soon OR are permanently unemployed.
The center (Bio Nest) will provide entrepreneurship and/or employment training, adaptation, social and cultural contacts for the sheltered members. At the Bio Nest educational sessions, discussions, creative workshops, consultations in entrepreneurship will take place. Unemployed women over 54 years of age with low chances for new employment right before retirement (as a target group) will come to the center.
A social enterprise will be launched in the frame of the Bio Nest – for bio businesses in agriculture, fishery, food preparation, healthy living and sports etc. Its mission will be to provide funds for the entrepreneurship training and motivation for the sheltered members in the Bio Nest. This will ensure the financial sustainability of the project. In the same time the sheltered members will use the social enterprise to gain knowledge and practical skills in entrepreneurial management.

BioNetwork Association works actively in the field of promotion of healthy living and physical activity, including these of disadvantaged people.
Our mission is to help in solving specific health and healthy eating problems of different target groups such as youth, disadvantaged youth, mothers and Bulgarian families, as stated in our Act of establishment. We're researching and adapting good European practices relevant to healthy living, environmental protection, education and training, sport and healthcare.
he organization has a managing board, with members very active in the field of:
• supporting measures for alternative tourism development and bio food production in small municipalities in Bulgaria
• supporting social entrepreneurs in Bulgaria, incl. trainings and coaching for local authorities how to work with social entrepreneurs on a local level
• supporting cultural events for vulnerable people;
• Organization of public debates with young people and representatives of local youth organizations on topics connected with the healthy living, healthy cooking, sports;
• Educational campaign amongst students in secondary schools and NGOs dealing with health and family issues on prevention of spinal deformities due to low physical activity, obesity and wrong sitting habits.
